Daisy started coughing about 2 weeks ago, I presume caused by spring allergies. She was coughing at rest, in the stable & field. She also coughed when ridden and her breathing was noisy too. I ordered some Equinox Respiratory Formula and within 1 week of having it, she was not coughing at any time and no noisy breathing. I cannot believe the difference in such a short time !

The Science
The Respiratory Formula is a product containing ethyl esters of essential fatty acid (EFA) of an increased content of flax oil rich in alphalinoleic acid, which support lower respiratory / pulmonary function. Respiratory Formula efficiently aids symptomatic support of cough and respiratory allergies. Respiratory Formula is made of a mixture of cold-pressed Omega-3/-6/-9 plant oils (a special composition of flax, blackcurrant, evening primrose and borage oils). The product is easily absorbed and readily available. Vitamin E in the esters supports protection from oxidative stress (the damage caused by free radicals).
Feeding Requirements
Recommended daily serving:
First 25 days: It is recommended to start with a small amount, and increase it gradually:
- 5 days - 20 ml/day/horse of 550kg body weight
- 10 days - 40 ml/day/horse of 550kg body weight
- 10-12 days - 80-100 ml/day/ horse of 550kg body weight.
1 months course is recommended, followed by maintenance daily serving as required.

Maintenance daily serving - average horse (approx 550kg) 20 ml per day - £55 lasts approx 10 + weeks.
(550kg horse) initial loading 30 to 40 day course .
Horses can remain long term on 50ml per day if required.

250kg pony maintenance 10ml daily - 500ml lasts approx 50 days
250kg pony 20 - 30 day loading / trial.
