Feeding Requirements
Feeding a balanced low sugar/low starch diet is advised for healthy digestion, with the addition of nutritional support from Equinox Gastro U.
Horses should be maintained long term with Equinox Gastro U at the full amount
OR
half the recommended amount with Equinox Original or Equinox Sport.
Daily serving is 8g per 100 kg of bodyweight daily. 3kg of Gastro U will last a 550kg horse approx 2 months, fed at 45g per day. 550kg horse - 3 x 15g yellow scoops of pellets per day.
One or two tubs of Gastro U Formula should be fed to the horse, before maintaining long term gastric & hindgut comfort on Equinox Gastro U at the full or reduced amount OR Equinox Original or SPORT. Equinox Gastro U, may also be used at times of increased risk, such as just before, during & after long journeys, stay away shows, worming etc.

Our UNIQUE YARROWIA YEAST - must not be confused with Brewer's yeast - which is made from a one-celled fungus called Saccharomyces cerevisiae and is a by-product of brewing beer. Unlike Brewers Yeast (Saccharomyces cerevisiae yeast) - Yarrowia lipolytica yeast, uses vegetable fatty acids as a source of carbon and energy. Yarrowia lipolytica yeast is extremely efficient at delivering nutrients into the horses body.
